School’s History
: Phum Steung Primary School was originally constructed by the community in 1979 with one room. The original thatch classrooms provided the school's only infrastructure until 1995, when the community pooled their money to build two concrete classrooms. In 1999, Red Bama added a block of three concrete classrooms and latrines. Enrollment of the students and demand continued to increase, resulting in the construction of two thatch classrooms, one funded from the students from Singapore. And in 2009 it was established a new library funded from Camboodia Child’s Dream Organization
. And in the last of 2010 under the fund from Australia was set up with a three new classroom building.
